Rebecca Ann Ashapa

Rebecca's main areas of expertise are contract law and financial regulation, with a particular focus on banking and FinTech. She has more than a decade of experience as inhouse legal counsel and deputy general counsel in regulated companies; Rebecca has worked for a large insurance company, one of the big three mobile network operators, a private bank, a crowdfunding and crowdlending FinTech and a DLT trading facility for digital assets. In 2021, Rebecca successfully completed a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Financial Market Law at the University of Zurich. Besides her work as an attorney admitted to the Swiss Bar Association, Rebecca is a passionate rock climber and loves to spend her time in the great outdoors all over the world.
